Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using KornerIQ ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by EbroadwayIT. Questions? Email admin@ebroadway.com.au.

2. The Service

KornerIQ provides a cloud-based compliance and staff management platform for small businesses. Features include employee records, right-to-work tracking, document storage, holiday and sick leave management, training records, and an AI compliance assistant.

3. Your account

• You must be 18 or over and have authority to bind your business to these terms.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when registering.
• One account per business entity. You may not share accounts across unrelated businesses.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell any part of the Service
• Use the Service to store data you do not have the right to process

5. Subscription and billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance.
• Your 14-day free trial requires no credit card. After the trial, you must subscribe to continue using the Service.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store payment card details.
• Prices are shown exclusive of VAT. UK VAT will be added where applicable.
• You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• No refunds are issued for partial months.

6. Your data

You retain ownership of all data you upload to KornerIQ. By using the Service you grant us a limited licence to store and process your data solely to provide the Service. We will not access your data except to provide support (with your permission) or as required by law.

7. Data as controller / processor

For the personal data of your employees that you input into KornerIQ, you are the data controller and we act as data processor under UK GDPR. We process that data only on your documented instructions. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request.

8. Service availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EbroadwayIT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

KornerIQ is a tool to assist with compliance. It does not constitute legal advice. You are responsible for ensuring your business meets all applicable legal requirements.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. You may close your account at any time from Settings. On termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
